Cheddar-Beer Spread
- ½ lb mild Cheddar cheese, grated

Makes 1 cup.
Bon Appétit!

Tried this, but I seem to be missing
the knack. Way too dry, not spreadable
at all. Are the listed proportions correct?
Anything missing from the list?
I checked a few other "cheese spread"
recipes and they called for a LOT
more liquid (usually milk).

I found this among my late mother's recipes. I remember her making it, but don't know what she thinned it with.
Knowing her, she probably used mayonnaise. But milk would work as well as more beer.
