Sore everything actually.
The drive from Lexington to Pittsburgh was more difficult than the drive down last week. By the time we arrived, my back was killing me. I had taken 2 Advil an hour or so before we got here, and took 4 more as we sat down to a wonderful dinner prepared for us by Alison's step-mother Barbara.
After dinner and some socializing, Alison and I followed her dad to my hotel (he's is a really great guy). It's not that far from their house, but still kind of hard to find on the hilly and twisty roads in this area.
I said good night to them, then they headed back. Check in at the hotel was a breeze. I had my room key within 3 minutes of walking into the lobby. I got to my room, and got out the laptop. This is when I noticed there was no Ethernet cable provided (unlike the SpringHill Suites where I stayed the last time I was here.)
So it was off to the Target across the road where I bought a cable and a bottle of Tums. The Advil was doing a number on my stomach, but the Tums and some Tagamet worked wonders.
I felt well enough to post my CBF entry before bed, but my back was still killing me when I crashed just before midnight.
I awoke to my alarm just before 7 and was free of the pain. This might be one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on.
But back to the picture. That is what I saw as I was getting into my car to leave their house last night. I grabbed the camera from the trunk and took the shot.
Well, I have now had some breakfast and am finishing a cup of coffee. Time for me to brush my teeth and hit the road. We don't have any set plans for the day. We're just going to do whatever. Just the way I like my vacations.
Have a great day y'all!

It's funny that your memories of the trip yesterday involve physical pain, while mine involve mental (parental) exasperation.

That's a great shot. I love cloud pictures. I have so many on my hard drive. Don't know what I'll ever do with them all. Your vacation day sounds like bliss. That's the best kind of vacation--the plan-free kind.

I agree, that's an incredible cloud shot.
Are you able to take Tylenol instead of Advil for pain? Or does it not help as much?

I agree with Carrie. Try to switch over to Tylenol and get off that Advil. Super picture of the colorful thunderhead. Carry on.....
