A few of my cherished Constant Readers mentioned Counting Crows in reference to the cat's name. Um, how to be diplomatic about this? Let me put it to you gently: we are not fans of Counting Crows. Adam Duritz's voice [Read More]

What a gorgeous cat! Thanks for sharing the coming-home pic.
Now, what shall we call her/him?

Names, let' see.
Taffy, to match his color and somewhat preppy.
Or Tawny (should have the same first initail as Tonks)

Maybe Tigger, or Tom
We'd have to see more pictures of him to really know what name is purrrfect for him.

What a beautifull cat, simply stunning. Allan, you have been winning big time for a while now. I'm really happy for you!

See Ali's blog for name suggestions, but I guarantee I'll be back to post some more.
How did he sleep last night? and did he sleep with you? is he vocal?
He looks like a sweetiepie.

He slept last night, but not with us. I'm not sure where he slept, but he seems to like the sectional a lot.
He is a very vocal cat. We are still trying to decipher what he wants when he talks to us.

He did NOT sleep last night. The little booger kept me awake for some time. After I was up for a while, he did come and sleep on the bed for a bit.
And his neow? Is very high-pitched and girly.

OHH then he definitely needs to have a nice, manly italian name that has some meat to it, and starts with "Al -"
Alonzo
Alfonze (Fonzi!)
Alfie (what's it all about, Al-FIEEEE)
or maybe Vinnie or Sal. :)
i love that he's vocal. he's probably saying "Hey! who ARE you guys?? I LIKE this couch!! and i LOVE the coffee table. Would you PLEASE give me a name already??" ;)

then there's always Leopold.

They hunt in the middle of the night. A mouse or a bird, Something for the Alfredo sauce Ali is thinking of making. Cats are nocturnal. That's why you get the surpises in the morning. Oh sweety, you killed a mastadon and you dragged it home to share it with us. I'll be you learned to do that watching "Animal Planet"

Much less like Yoda from the front. Still cute though.
